How do I verify the accredited investor status of a business, like a partnership or corporation?

A business entity can be considered an accredited investor by satisfying one of the following requirements:

  • Provide financial documents or bank statements of your business to prove total assets exceed $5 million USD. Documents must be dated within the last 90 days.
  • A letter signed by a third-party professional (lawyer, accountant, broker, or investment advisor) for every owner of the business, representing they are an accredited investor.
  • A letter signed by a third-party professional (lawyer, accountant, broker, or investment advisor) representing the entire business is accredited.
